The Hike

Back at the Tourne for a quick three laps through actual soup! Just a few cars in the parking lot, my real goal here was to keep my Local Legend status on Strava. It was buggier than usual, and I repeatedly crossed paths with a trail runner who was using a stick like a windmill to keep the bugs away, but overall it was fine. By the top of the third lap, my shirt was in FULL saran wrap mode, but I did bring my headphones for this one, which helped me feel the will to live. It started to drizzle the second I got back in my car - yay!

Step-By-Step

- Park at parking area on the Old Denville Side of McCaffrey Lane.

- Start hike on Yellow Dot trail from parking lot.

- At terminus, turn left onto Yellow trail to hike the loop.

- After three loops, return to car via Yellow Dot trail.
