The Hike 

This was a short pseudo hike at the Postcard Cabins Blake Brook by Mariott property! Christien and I stayed the night at Cabin 14, and it was beyond adorable. The cabin was effectively a tiny home with a bed, little bench table booth situation, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower. Outside was a picnic table, fire pit, and a couple of Adirondack chairs. The night was calm as hell with some drinks, fire, and board games, and our plan for this afternoon was to kayak on Lake Winnipeasukee. 

Naturally I wanted to check out the Nature Trail attached to the property, so we walked out of the door and started our hike! The trail was a lollipop loop that at first followed Blake Brook (super pretty and chill) and then looped into the woods to make a return. Super short and sweet, and it was good becuase the high for the day would be in the upper 90s!

Kayaking was the best way to spend a stupid hot day, and we had a lovely lunch out on the Lake before driving back to Boston!

Step-by-Step

- Depart Cabin 14, turning left onto Elm Way.

- At jct., turn right onto Church Path.

- At end of road, continue into woods and hike loop counter clockwise.

- At end of loop, return to cabin.
